Hi, I’m Emily
Certified Parenting Coach
I help parents of young children feel more confident, connected, and clear in how they show up each day. With real-world tools and grounded support, you’ll build a parenting approach that actually works for your family.
You want to be a good parent, but most days you feel like you’re just trying to get through.
The meltdowns. The bedtime battles. The yelling you didn’t mean to do. The guilt afterward. You’re doing your best, but nothing seems to work the way it’s supposed to.
You’re tired of guessing. Tired of wondering if you’re screwing it all up. You love your child deeply, but some days you don’t feel like the parent you want to be.
If you’ve ever said “Why is this so hard?” or “I just want my kid to listen without yelling,” then you are not alone.
Welcome!
I’m a certified parent coach, early childhood educator, and mom.
I help parents stop repeating the patterns they swore they’d never pass down.
This isn’t about doing things perfectly or following some parenting script. It’s about learning who you are, where your reactions come from, and how to shift the cycle, so you can raise kids who feel safe, seen, and deeply connected to you.
Before I became a mom, I was working in early education and family support, helping other parents navigate the chaos. But when I trained through the Jai Institute, everything cracked open. I realized I wasn’t just collecting tools; I was healing. I saw how my childhood shaped the way I communicated, regulated (or didn’t), and showed up in relationships. And I began doing the work to shift it all, for me and for the little girl I would one day raise.
Now, I’m mainly a mom who’s still learning, unlearning, and showing up with intention. I know how hard it is to parent differently when no one modeled it for you. I also know it’s possible.
This work is about more than discipline strategies or tantrums (though we’ll talk about those too). It’s about reclaiming your power as a parent, getting clear on your values, communicating with confidence, and finally breaking free from the stories that keep you stuck.
What I offer is real-life support for real-life families. No shame, no perfection, just a calm voice in the noise, and a whole lot of compassion for the version of you who's ready to do things differently.
What is Parent Coaching
Parent coaching is support for you. Not because you’re doing it wrong, but because you’re carrying a lot and were never taught how to do this with help.
It’s not about fixing your child or following a strict method. It’s about understanding what’s going on beneath the surface. In your child’s behavior and in your own responses. And having the tools and space to respond with more calm, clarity, and confidence.
Parent coaching helps you:
✓ Untangle the overwhelm and make sense of what’s happening at home
✓ Understand your child’s needs and your own nervous system
✓ Shift patterns that don’t feel good anymore like yelling, shutting down, or constant power struggles
✓ Learn how to repair and reconnect after hard moments
✓Set boundaries that are clear and respectful
✓Feel supported in the day-to-day parenting load, without judgment
In sessions, we talk about what’s coming up for you. We explore the dynamics in your family and build a plan that works for your real life. No pressure to be perfect. No shame. Just space to reset and move forward with support.
Whether you’re dealing with toddler tantrums, parenting differently than your partner, discipline confusion, or just feeling stretched too thin, parent coaching can help you find your way back to the parent you want to be. With tools that actually work and a guide who truly gets it.
